Hello Everyone!!
I was online googling to try and find something that could help my neighbor to pay her mortgage and I came across this site. I saw how many people have ads here telling about how they would like people to donate money to help pay their mortgage. So I thought well if everyone else is doing it why don't I make one and see what happens.
Here it goes:
My friend/neighbor has 3 children, 2 years old. 3 years old (almost 4), and a 6 year old (almost 7). She lives with their father, no they are not married, do not ask why lol. He works as a loan officer (ironic I know lol) and she has had to take a job at the gym to help pay the bills.
Dad (would prefer not to use names) was laid off last year and could not find a job for a long time. So of course there was no money coming in but tons of it going out. They ended up having to get credit cards just to buy food to feed their children. Luckily he found a job and has been able to support his family so far.
Now they are having troubles paying their bills since he had been laid off. They have so much debt from when he got laid off and from just being a family with needs.
Mom works all the time but only gets paid $7 an hour and she is the MANAGER of the kids rrom at the gym!! I couldn't believe it. She HATES her job but knows she has to work for her children.
When she is not working she is taking care of the little ones. She does a great job expecially since Dad does not help much with the children.
She told me TODAY that they can not pay this months mortgage and knows that the house will be forclosed on if they do not do something soon.
If they do not get help they will have to move to North Carolina (it is cheaper there and Dad can be transfered.). The oldest boy will have to be ripped out of school before the year ends and start a new one for only a few months. He already has a hard time as he has a speach problem as well as ADHD. ALL her family and his family is here in VIRGINIA.
What I would like to ask of anyone who wishes to help is to PLEASE donate any amount of money to help them pay their bills. I am not asking for people to donate enough to pay the whole mortgage off like other people. I hope to get enough to pay the mortgage for 2 or 3 months so they can save some money and get back on their feet.
I myself gave her a check last week for $300. I had to force her to take it. She felt bad for many reasons, 1 I am only 21 college student and younger then here, 2 she feels as she can not support her own family. I told her to think of it as me paying her ahead of time for walking my dogs. I help her as much as she will let me.
